Wonderful
Great location right in the heart of all of the action. Shin-Okubo is the closest large station if you can find that-about a 10 minute walk. Staff is very nice and many of them speak English to help you out. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.
Seems expensive for what you get but maybe that's just the cost for a good hotel in Shinjuku.

What was the highlight of La'gent Hotel Shinjuku Kabukicho
A clean, modern hotel in a lively area with restaurants and bars close to Shinjuku Station.
The hotel was conveniently located a relatively short walk from Shinjuku Station in an area with lots of restaurants and bars. The hotel was modern and clean with friendly staff. The breakfast buffet was reasonable.
The room was small by western standards, with the bed hard against one wall. This made getting in and out of that side difficult. This was also the case in the other hotels we stayed in whilst in Japan, so maybe it is normal for Japanese hotels. There seemed to be a lot of emergency vehicle sirens during the night, but we knew it was a lively area so we weren't expecting peace and quiet!
